    Samba to the sustainable beat with TENCEL™!    The latest collaboration with our Brazilian partners, Dod Alfaiataria and Canatiba Textil, the "Quintal 540” collection is not just pieces of clothing; it’s a celebration of its Afro-Brazilian heritage, a manifestation of craftsmanship and creativity, and a commitment to sustainability. Our belief in the power of partnership has once again transcended borders and brought together resources across the globe – from Austria to Brazil – to make strides towards a more sustainable future, with Brazil being a key strategic partner in our journey. ‘‘Once again, we sought to partner with Canatiba and TENCEL™ to bring this collection, inspired by samba, to life … thinking about products made in Brazil, with foreign technology, makes perfect sense,” says Juares Tenorio, founder and creative director of Dod Alfaiataria.     A significant step towards combatting misleading or vague environmental claims, the introduction of the European Parliament’s “Green Claims Directive” is steering the industry towards greater transparency across the value chain.    Shedding light on the importance of the Directive, Florian Heubrandner, Executive Vice President of Global Textiles Business of Lenzing Group, shared that it will “tighten communication and substantiation of environmental claims in the foreseeable future.” Harold Weghorst, Senior Director of Marketing and Branding of Global Textiles Business, also added that with increasing attention around climate change, the Directive “can empower consumers to make more informed and conscious choices.”    Read on to learn more about the Directive, its impact, and how TENCEL™ integrates traceability and transparency with innovative solutions: https://lnkd.in/d4AkJ5nk    #TENCEL #GreenClaimsDirective #Transparency

    We’re thrilled to celebrate a special milestone with our long-standing partner, Royal Robbins, an outdoor adventure apparel brand – their iconic Desert Pucker shirt is turning 25 this April!   Since 1999, the love for nature has brought Royal Robbins and TENCEL™ together on a fruitful journey, reconnecting people with nature through adventure apparel that put the planet first, embodied in the iconic Pucker Shirt with TENCEL™ Modal fibers.    Widely loved by outdoor and adventure enthusiasts for its comfort, exceptional performance, and sustainability, the shirt has reached new heights after 25 years with more than one million sold in 2023. For example, the launch of a new processing technique has made stretch fabrics made of TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers a reality. Redefining functional outdoor apparel, an outdoor jacket without plastic as the main ingredient was created by one of our urban outdoor brand partners. Insulating products using TENCEL™ fibers as the basis have been rolled out to deliver exceptional warmth, water-repellence, breathability, and moisture control.    In 2024 and beyond, we will continue the momentum to shape a regenerative world.
